Pragmatic language and expected social behaviors challenge many of Pathways’ students.  Both small pragmatics classes and milieu supports are provided to all students.  Every student is scheduled for Pragmatics Classes each week where his or her IEP Pragmatics goals are addressed.  All Pathways staff are trained to provide modeling and other needed supports for student interactions in the natural contexts of the school day and when on community outings.  Scheduled trips into the community allow students to practice their skills in settings outside of school.
